Associated Press • Redesign
Carrie redesigned and established the look and feel of the AP's editorial interactive and graphic products from mid-2010 to early 2011.
Her broad task included leading a team of developers in creating fresh templates that satisfied a wide range of AP client needs while also enhancing the efficiency for the staff to report and produce original content under tight deadlines. The resulting efforts won the 2011 EPPY Award for Best Redesign/Relaunch with 250,000 to 1 million unique monthly visitors.
She implemented visual and written styles and standards in design, data visualization, cartography, photo editing, video presentation, user experience/interface and client communications. Some of this work was published in the 2012 AP Stylebook. (Read entries)
