“In the Continuum”
Carrie illustrated the promotional artwork for the 2005-06 award-winning Off-Broadway play by Danai Gurira (Black Panther, The Walking Dead, Eclipsed) and Nikkole Salter (Carnaval) about two women – one African and the other African-American – who contract HIV from their men. The image also promoted professional touring and regional productions in Africa and North America.
The second illustration was for the play’s supplementary educational material. This true story profiled a pregnant, HIV-positive mother from Zimbabwe who had an abortion against her desires.
